Home 2006

This friday we visited the Digital Home expo and Home fair at Stockholmmässan with Isabel and Gabriel, I get amazed every time how big that place is and how much junk you can fill it with. The sauna department was really something.

There are some pics over at Gabs’s blog. Typing: My Life: Home 2006

In other news we put up the tiles over our kitchen counter this weekend and it is pretty clear to me that the Vendors hate the DYI guys like us. I spent the better part of the day cleaning a wall that the intructions said would be clean after two wipes. But the tiles are up and I proclaim the mission for the weekend a success.

Don Durrance

Life is a razorblade

My friend Don Durrance drew this after a chat we had yesterday. We were listening to The Knife and the above is his take on the song Heartbeats. And specifically the phrase “Sharing different heartbeats”.

He JUST got a new Wacom Tablet that he does this stuff on, he also only uses Linux and Open Source when he produces his art.
So needless to say, out of ideas for your album cover? Look no further.

Anders Johanson

I spent a lot of time in the studio lately, doing things for a bachelors party, a fake duet for a party (one part was pre-recorded) and other small things like that. But most importantly The granddad of folk in Uppsala Anders Johanson is just about done with his demo. And I recorded it!

There will soon be some mp3´s available, but i can tell you right now that this man is one of the greatest voices i have heard in a while. We recorded 47 minutes of useable material during just the first session, how about that for effectivity?

And we are back

Sorry for the delay my friends. Sooo much new stuff going on that you would not believe. New job, new apartment. Just to name two things. It was a busy summer but it feels like routine finally is setting in, giving me some time to get a blog going again. Yeah!
