Two days ago the first real cold came and yesterday the snow, i took out the camera and documented some winter sports with Aron. And for the first time he is old enough to enjoy it!

Aron spent the entire day at his grandmothers house, so we had the entire day for ourselves. Fantastic! Even if parenting is great, it’s important to remember who you are yourself once in a while. Of course the day without the little one meant we had a chance to fix a lot of the things still left unfinished at home.. L painted windows and I fixed some electricity stuff in the kitchen.. That has only been broke for something like two years..

We rounded off the day with a visit to the cinema! Namely the latest Bond offering. While I think Daniel Craig is perfect for the new version of the agent I think he goes too far into Terminator-mode here. There was a raw edge in the last one that is missing here, replaced by explosive effects. I believe this is also the first Bond movie that relies heavily on previous movies. Bond deals with his feelings for Vesper throughout the length of the film. Sadly I have no memory of who Vesper was, oh well…

L spent last week in South Africa on a conference, so for one week I got to live the hard and unforgiving life of the single parent. While the kind services of my mother made it possible to still work full-time the nights with him were mine and mine alone. Aron has never been very good at sleeping entire nights, in fact were got pretty upset when we found out that there is a special section of BVC that only deals with infant sleeping disorders, when the first year, and the worst period had already passed.

So anyway, what you see in the photo above is young Aron annecting the vacuum-hoover into his already extensive collection of carts. He got very annoyed later when his pushing it around was impeded by the fact that it was hooked up to cable and hose.
