The week in review

Another week zipped by, a very social one this time. While I was away in Sundsvall for a work conference we had visits from K and A, and we promise you that there will come a time when coming here wont be like a huge work-camp for you guys! Thanks for all the help. A & C also payed us a visit and we hope they had a good visit in the big city.

Aron had a rather nasty accident on thursday when he managed to tilt our bar-cupboard on top of himself and one of the mirrors broke. He cut his face, but thankfully needed no stiches. We got quick and professional help and he is now back to his former self, but now with stories about “Erik” the nurse who helped him. He also wants to clean our faces and put band-aids on them, hopefully soon he will be back to 100%.

Simon is doing great, growing like crazy! Yesterday is his date to get weighted and measured, it’s going to be interesting to see what his stats are, he already feels like he is approaching Valentina in size,

New week, new possibilities

It has been another nice weekend in the Bergström Gumucio house.

On Friday we rented and saw Che: Part one. And it was an absolute snooze-cruise. You would think that setting up a revolution would make for a better movie. But sadly it fails on all counts, the action is on a low scale, the acting is shallow and it didn’t even explain the historic parts all that well.

Saturdays main event was the wedding party for friends E and L. At the castle! Amazing food, lots to drink. African dancing. Silly party hats, ears and eyes… You had to be there. We were talk

Sunday was all about home renovation. With Aron safely tucked away at this grandma, we had the time to get some stuff done that was long overdue. Got some shelves up by the tv, got rid of the old wardrobe.. got the new one from the storage place.. a very productive day.

Aron and Simon are doing great and getting along together nicely. More pics of the little ones are to come, I promise!

Shakeboa

chakopaul

Welcome to Chako Paul City.

Founded in 1820 by a rich widow. The population is dominated by lesbian lumberjack-ladies and any man that dares to enter gets beaten up by the local police.

The story was run recently by a whole number of magazines that the chinese paper Xinhua News was reporting of  a lesbo town in the northern parts of Sweden.

Searching google very quickly reveals that there seems to be no foundation for this at all. Xinhua news has no such story in its archives, and nobody has been able to produce a link or a screenshot of the original story.

Kind of sobering to see a pure fabrication get so much attention, isn’t it? Thankfully we live in an age where it is possible to quite quickly check sources, use that power and never trust anything too much..

Thanks to Anders for filling me in on the details.
