Winter adventures

As you can tell from the photo winter has arrived in style. It’s the coldest November in Uppsala since 1904 or something like that. The kids are taking the change to winter climate rather well, they love the snow and if it was up to them we would stay out a lot longer after kindergarten. Alas their father do not enjoy running around in -17celsius.

Aron is very excited about upcoming Christmas, although not really clear on the concept he has a very clear idea that Santa will come and bring him presents. Simon is growing as well and its adorable to see him play with Aron. He just mimics everything that Aron does and they are for the most part having a great time together. I paid a short visit to my job last week and it felt kind of strange to be around grown ups, without having to constantly think “what is Simon doing now?”.  I am loving the stay at home period, but it sure will feel good to return to the world of grown-up working people again.

The workforce of today

ABC-nytt, our supplier of local televised news in Uppsala recently aired this feature. The topic is how well service-based-companies are doing here at the moment, and to illustrate their point some of Uppsala finest got to show themselves and their offices. Namely brother Gabriel! Way to go!

Student Theater

During the weekend me and Gabs got the opportunity to eye through a copy of the very first issue of Uppsala Nya Tidning, from 1890. This piece of advert was to be found, its ticket information of the Snerikes Student Theater association. A lof of fun since we both have had a lot to do with the modern version of the same society.
