We had a pretty nice weekend considering everything, L is still sick with the cold from hell, three weeks going.. but anyway. Yesterday a valiant effort was made to make us and the kids get some quality outdoors time, we took the “bobs” and went to the local ski-slope. But the cold eventually got the better of us and the kids despite enjoying the concept also agreed that it was time to give the outdoorsy activities a rest.

Saturday evening meant a trip to the studio, I’m working on a remix that I want to sound really raw and analogue, and I’m fighting against the maddening quirks of the Doepfer Schaltwerk.. man.. sometimes it’s a piece of heaven that machine and sometimes you just need to turn it off for a while and do something else.. pretty telling that the first page in it’s manual discusses burning your own eprom ..

Anyway the weekend ended in style with some prominent guests at our table for the Sunday afternoon tea. Can you believe I just today handed over the last christmas present? Many many thanks to E for the help with the new kitchen fan, our old one broke and guess what the most economical solution was? Buy an identical one..
